Process

How the work moves in ACMS

  1. 1

    Establish the budget

Link the awarded scope and approved cost plan. Record the version used for later comparisons.

  2. 2

    Track obligations

Purchase orders, subcontracts and approved changes show committed outflow before payment occurs.

  3. 3

    Reconcile the claim

Follow certified value through invoicing and collection. Inspect missing supporting documents and retainage conditions.

  4. 4

    Review the cash plan

Compare expected receipts with payments by period. Include the opening cash position when assessing funding needs.

When something goes wrong

What happens

A claim is certified, but the cash has not arrived.

How it is handled in ACMS

Preparing a demo

What to bring

The project budget, a purchase order or subcontract, a payment application and its invoices and receipts. Identify the reporting date and currency.

Is forecast margin posted profit?

No. A forecast is a management view with assumptions and a data date. It does not create a journal entry or replace statutory accounting.

Does ACMS replace our accounting software?

The operational project records and the statutory ledger have separate responsibilities. The accounting integration, mapping and reconciliation are defined for each implementation.
