Contracts

Contract values, variations and subcontractor work in one place.

Contracts with the client and with subcontractors record values, advances, retention and payment terms. Variations are requested, priced and approved before they change the contract value. Subcontractor claims are checked against the contract and the work accepted on site.

Process

How the work moves in ACMS

  1. 1

    Set up the contract

Record value, scope, advance, retention, payment terms and the responsible people for each party.

  2. 2

    Manage variations

Log each variation request with its reason, price and status. Only approved variations change the contract value.

  3. 3

    Check subcontractor claims

Compare claimed quantities with the subcontract and the quantities accepted by QA/QC.

  4. 4

    Track obligations

Follow advances to recover, retention to release and payments due under each contract.

On site

When something goes wrong

What happens

A subcontractor claims more formwork than was accepted on site.

How it is handled in ACMS

The QS sees the difference against QA-018, pays the accepted quantity and returns the rest to the subcontractor with the inspection reference.

Preparing a demo

What to bring

One subcontract with its schedule of rates, one approved variation and the latest subcontractor claim with its inspection records.

Book a demo
Are variations kept apart from the original contract?

Yes. The original value stays visible; approved variations are added with their own approval history.

Can subcontractors submit their own claims?

Within an agreed scope they can submit claims and evidence for their own contract only.

Send us a sample schedule, work order or payment file. The demo walks through that process in ACMS with your team.
